Immaginate un commendatore tutto d’un pezzo, rigoroso e concentrato sui propri affari; un capitano abituato a dare ordini e a mantenere il controllo; e un professore colto, riflessivo e incline a filosofeggiare su tutto. Per una bizzarra e inattesa combinazione, tre uomini così diversi e abituati a dominare le proprie certezze si ritrovano confinati in uno spazio neutro, misterioso e indefinito. Non è un ufficio, non è una caserma, non è casa loro. È una sorta di anticamera del tempo e dello spazio dove le leggi della logica si dissolvono.
Costretti a condividere una situazione surreale, i tre scoprono ben presto di essere al centro di un equivoco cosmico. Tra porte che non si aprono, battute taglienti, scontri di carattere e tentativi disperati di ristabilire l’ordine gerarchico, la convivenza forzata si trasforma in un esilarante duello verbale. Picture a commendatore of the old school, strict and wholly absorbed in his business; a captain used to giving orders and staying in control; and a cultured, thoughtful professor inclined to philosophise about everything. Through a strange and unexpected twist of fate, three such different men, each used to being master of his own certainties, find themselves confined in a neutral, mysterious, undefined space. It isn’t an office, it isn’t a barracks, it isn’t home. It is a kind of antechamber of time and space, where the laws of logic dissolve.
Forced to share a surreal situation, the three soon discover that they are at the centre of a cosmic misunderstanding. Between doors that won’t open, cutting remarks, clashing personalities and desperate attempts to restore the pecking order, their forced cohabitation turns into a hilarious verbal duel. Wat gebeurt er als de dagelijkse routine plotseling wordt doorbroken door iets onverklaarbaars?
Stel je voor: een commendatore uit één stuk, streng en volledig gericht op zijn zaken; een kapitein die gewend is bevelen te geven en de touwtjes in handen te houden; en een belezen, bedachtzame professor die over alles graag filosofeert. Door een vreemde, onverwachte samenloop van omstandigheden belanden drie zulke verschillende mannen, elk gewend om baas te zijn over zijn eigen zekerheden, in een neutrale, mysterieuze en ondefinieerbare ruimte. Het is geen kantoor, geen kazerne en ook niet hun eigen huis. Het is een soort voorportaal van tijd en ruimte, waar de wetten van de logica vervagen.
Gedwongen om een surrealistische situatie te delen, ontdekken de drie al snel dat ze in het middelpunt van een kosmisch misverstand staan. Tussen deuren die niet opengaan, scherpe oneliners, botsende karakters en wanhopige pogingen om de rangorde te herstellen, verandert het gedwongen samenzijn in een hilarisch verbaal duel. Het pragmatisme van de commendatore, de discipline van de kapitein en de existentiële twijfels van de professor botsen voortdurend, met pure komedie als resultaat.
